Tatem Ashley Smith Tungate

Tatem Ashley Smith Tungate, of Campbellsville, daughter of Tammy Elder and Mike Mings was born September 30, 1987 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:10 P.M., Thursday, June 11, 2020 in Louisville. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. She had a heart of gold with a soft spot for people in need and animals; people couldn’t help but be in a great mood when around her and her children were her life. She is survived by her children: Channing Tungate and Rhylen Cochran; mother and step-father, Tammy and Eric Elder; father, Mike Mings; step-brother and step-sister: Ryan Elder and wife, Crystal and Erica Elder Hagan and husband, Jason; maternal grandparents, Mike and Marilyn Smith; mother-in-law, Gail Cochran; two sisters-in-law: Katlyn Cochran and Davonna Bowling; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her fiancé, Josh Cochran October 24, 2017.
