Marzon Pyles

Marzon Pyles of Campbellsville, son of the late Clayton Pyles and Dora Martin Pyles, was born January 28, 1933 in Metcalf County, Kentucky. He died at 6:23 A.M., Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Louisville. Age: 87 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Marzon was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a farmer. He was a hardworking man and enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors and growing strawberries. He loved his family and always gave everyone of them a nickname. Everyone called him Grandpa. He united in marriage to Peggy Ware November 23, 1956 and she preceded him in death October 25, 2011. He is survived by one son and two daughters: Billy Pyles, Beth Murphy and Ivy Keen of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Chad Skaggs and wife, Bonnie, James Broyles, William Broyles and wife, Angie, Mary Lynn Skaggs and Isaiah Clarkson ; two step-grandchildren: Brock Murphy and Rayven Murphy; nine great-grandchildren: Austin Skaggs, Ryan Skaggs, Dakota Broyles, Brandon Skaggs, Brittany Beard, Rhianna Broyles, Gabrielle Lyvers, Blade Broyles and Carly Broyles; two step-great-grandchildren; Luna Murphy and Scarlett Murphy; one great-great-granddaughter, Addison Grace Scott; two brothers: Grover Pyles and Preston Pyles of Campbellsville; four nephews and many other relatives and friends.
