William "Bill" Hall

William “Bill” Hall of Campbellsville, son of the late Robert Dorsey Hall and Arbell Gupton Hall, was born November 6, 1956, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:53 P.M., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Campbellsville.   Age: 61 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Saloma Baptist Church. He participated in the choir and was head of the Safety and Security Committee. He was employed by the Campbellsville Fire Department from 1978-2012; retired as Assistant Chief of the Campbellsville Fire Department and was an active volunteer for Campbellsville-Taylor County Fire Departments. Bill was a past Regional Director of the Kentucky Firefighter Association and was formerly on the Firefighter Association Hall of Fame Committee and had worked with the Firefighter Explorer Program for many years. He was also Chairman of the Local Emergency Planning Committee. He united in marriage to Deborah Thompson January 1, 1984. Besides his wife, Deborah Hall of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Becky Hall of Metcalfe County; one brother and two sisters: Doug Hall and wife, Lisa of Westminister, Colorado, Barbara D. Hall and spouse, Becky Powers of Louisville and Melinda Hayes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
