Stephen Douglas Farmer of Campbellsville, son of the late Fonzie Farmer and Bonnie Gabehart Farmer, was born February 15, 1956 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:27 P.M., Monday, November 14, 2022 in Louisville. Age: 66 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of East Campbellsville Church of God. Doug was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He was a Ford man through and through, enjoyed his guns and his cars, liked to fish and was an avid softball player when he was younger. Doug’s dog, Cricket, was always at his side when he was home. He was a family man and loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart. Doug was also a familiar face at Campbellsville Gun and Pawn. He united in marriage to Jo Gabehart July 1, 1977. Besides his wife, Jo Farmer of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Kyle Farmer and wife, Krissy of Campbellsville and Amanda Settles of Bardstown; three grandchildren: Zach Parsons, Kyndall Metcalf and Lexi Boils; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
