Ruth W. Phillips

Ruth W. Phillips of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie James Mills and Ruby Christine Bledsoe Mills, was born March 3, 1935 in Clinton County, Kentucky. She died at 4:00 P.M., Monday, September 6, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Ruth was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She had a a genuine love for people and found great joy in serving others during her 20+ years with Campbellsville Retirement Home. She united in marriage to George Rieman Phillips July 14, 1952 and he preceded her in death September 25, 1984. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Gary Phillips and wife, Tammy and Shirley Phillips of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Tyler Phillips and wife, Tracey and Chase Yates of Campbellsville, Garrett Phillips of Tampa, Florida and Brandon Phillips and wife, Abby of Bowling Green; three great-grandchildren: Chazilyn Milby, Cole Phillips and Mason Phillips; one brother, Glenn Mills of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. _______________ VISITATION: 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
