Raymond Wood

Raymond Wood of Campbellsville, son of the late David Guy Wood and Ethel Dile Wood, was born December 24, 1952 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 12:33 A.M., Friday, October 8, 2021 in Lebanon. Age: 68 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. Raymond was a very talented hairdresser and instructor for many years. He was a very loving “Poppy” and “Daddy” to his children and grandchildren. He united in marriage to Janet Giles June 5, 1981 and she preceded him in death December 21, 2020. He is survived by two daughters: Natalie Wood and Amber Wood; three grandchildren: Kolton Railley, Konnar Railley and Karley Railley; four sisters and four brothers: Norma Wright and husband, Kelly, Helen Rainwater, Melva Wood, Sue Hunt and husband, Jim, George Wood and wife, Sharon, Joe Wood and wife, Vickie, Guy Wood and wife, Rebecca, Bobby Wood and wife, Rebecca all of Campbellsville; many other relatives and friends.
