Orene Mae Sapp Richenburg of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Green Sapp and Thelma Mae Rose Sapp, was born July 13, 1927 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:47 A.M., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 93 She professed faith in Christ at a young age and was a charter member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. She loved her church, taught Sunday School and GA’s and led many children to Christ. Orene was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom and owner and operator of Margaret Ann’s Flowers in Campbellsville. She loved cooking and baking for her family. Orene is survived by one granddaughter, Jeanie Matney and husband, Kerry of Campbellsville; two step-grandchildren: Lisa Burton and Ricky Ray and wife, Peggy of Campbellsville; five great-grandchildren: Austin Matney and wife, Sarah, Autumn Matney, Candice Coulter, Cory Burton and Dustin Burton; two sisters: Margaret Ann Graybeal of Campbellsville and Virgie Suell of Jeffersonville, Indiana; several nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives.
