Naomi Cox of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ova Wise and Della Woodrum Wise, was born September 23, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 5:21 P.M., Monday, January 18, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 88 She professed faith in Christ and was a founding member of Farmers Chapel First Church of God. She was a cook at Taylor County Schools for over twenty years. Naomi loved to cook for her family and enjoyed Saturday morning breakfast with her boys and Sunday dinners with her kids and grandkids. She united in marriage to Wallace Cox December 22, 1947. He preceded her in death April 5, 2005. She is survived by five sons and four daughters: Connie Arnold and husband, Jeff, Rodger Cox and wife, Elizabeth, Mitchell Cox and wife, Cindy, Garry Cox and wife, Kay, Barbara Gribbins and husband, Greg, and Cheryl Sullivan and husband, Randy all of Campbellsville, Ricky Cox and wife, Connie of Elizabethtown, Nancy Cox of Lexington, and Donnie Cox and wife, Cheryl of London; twenty one grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and thirty six great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Calvin Wise and wife, Betty of Lebanon; one sister-in-law, Christine Wise; many other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
