Murey Finn

Murey Finn of Campbellsville, son of the late George Taylor Finn and Carrie Keltner Finn, was born September 25, 1928 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 5:50 P.M., Friday, January 15, 2021 in Boonville, Indiana. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean conflict. He was a retired businessman in the carpet and tile industry most of his life as the owner and operator of Finn’s carpet. Murey served as a Gideon for over thirty years, he also served in prison ministry as assistant Chaplin at Marion Adjustment Center. Murey was a devout Christian and dedicated his life to the Lords work. Murey united in marriage to Geraline Murrell December 20, 1951 and she preceded him in death in June 26, 2016. He is survived by two sons, Larry Finn and Jeff Finn; two grandsons: Jordan Finn and wife, Andrea and Tanner Finn; two great grandsons: Evan and Camden Finn and a sister-in-law Lillie Finn all of Campbellsville; also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Arvid Finn, Glen Finn, Eddie Finn, Virginia Phelps and Bernice Wood.
