Mitch Reynolds, son of the late Tommie Reynolds and Shirley Morgan Reynolds, was born March 2, 1960 in Campbellsville. He passed away peacefully at 1:19 A.M., Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington.
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Mitch was the true example of what a person should be. He was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, boss and friend, who would give the shirt off his back for anyone. If you met Mitch, you instantly connected with him due to his big heart, friendly laugh and loving demeanor. He loved watching sports, especially UK football and basketball, and watching shows about monster trucks, truck pulls, and classic cars. He was the best papaw to his grandkids whom he adored the most, and certainly spoiled.
Mitch is survived by his wife, Pat Reynolds of Campbellsville; two daughters: Stephanie Reynolds and Megan Reynolds Newton and husband, Drew of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Emma Newton, Myles Newton, and Avery Newton; one sister and three brothers: Debbie Reynolds Price and Richie Reynolds and wife, Jennifer, both of Versailles, Chris Reynolds and wife, Karen of Lexington, and Tim Reynolds and wife, Beth of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by special nephews, Jonathan Thomas Price, June 21, 2014 and Griffin William Reynolds November 9, 1997.
