Michelle Newton Yates

Michelle Newton Yates of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Dorris Ray Newton and Ruth Adams Newton, was born July 28, 1967 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She died Wednesday, June 29, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 54 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of New Journey Church. Michelle was a kind hearted person who loved her family and her Lord. She was a wonderful wife, nah nah, mom, sister and aunt. Her favorite drink was Ski in a can and the beach was her happy place. She united in marriage to Ronnie Yates April 25, 1987. Besides her husband, Ronnie Yates of Campbellsville, Michelle is survived by one son and one daughter: Chanci Jo Yates and Hunter Yates of Campbellsville; special daughter, Shelby Wood of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Remi Jo Yates, Chanleigh Yates, Bentley Yates and Mason; one sister, Linda Maupin and husband, David of Danville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
