Marvelle J. Beard

Marvelle J. Beard of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Cliff Jerde and Carrie Halverson Jerde, was born June 11, 1939 in DeKalb, Illinois.  She died at 9:41 P.M., Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Campbellsville.    Age: 79 She professed faith in Christ and was of the Lutheran faith. Marvelle was a retired physical therapist with the Holy Cross Hospital in Florida. She united in marriage to James Beard in 1987. Besides her husband, James Beard, she is survived by one son and one daughter:  Tom Kennedy and wife, Theresa of DeKalb, Illinois and Carrie Valencia and husband, Jorge of Davie, Florida;  nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren:  three brothers and three sisters:  Harold Jerde, Paul Jerde and wife, Karen, Dean Jerde and wife, Terry, Carmen Osland and husband, David and Marilyn Mathison and husband, Merv of DeKalb, Illinois and Carol Rumpf and husband, Ron of Peoria, Illinois;  several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. _______________ VISITATION:      5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at  Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville, Kentucky BURIAL:              Fairview Cemetery in DeKalb, Illinois PARROTT & RAMSEY FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS
