Marjorie H. Bale, age 92, of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Howard Thomas Hodges and Mayme Thomas Milby Hodges, was born February 13, 1929 in Green County, Kentucky. She passed away at her home in Campbellsville on July 30, 2021. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She was an educator for forty-four years teaching primarily in the Taylor County School Systems. She united in marriage to Hulet Garnett Bale August 12, 1950. He preceded her in death April 12, 2001. She is survived by one daughter: Garnetta Murrell and husband, Richard of Campbellsville; three grandchildren, Dr. Morgan Larkin and husband, Clay of Lexington, Makenzie Murrell of Bowling Green, and Myles Murrell of Campbellsville; two sisters: Mary Jean Gardner and husband, Todd of Greensburg, Judith Ann Resch and husband, Jerry of Pensacola, Florida. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Kenneth Hodges, Howard Hodges, William Hodges and Virginia Hodges.
