Lillie O. Buckman of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Willie Virgil Gabbert and Bessie Pearline Thomas Gabbert, was born January 29, 1935, in Adair County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 P.M., Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Greensburg. Age: 83 She was a believer in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Lillie was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty-two years of service. After retirement, she was blessed to be able to take care of the elderly, which was her true passion, even from a young age. When she wasn’t taking care of her family, she found relaxation in tending her garden and flowers. She is survived by two sons: Charles Buckman, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Campbellsville and Ronald Buckman and wife, Vickie of Greensburg; four grandchildren: J. T. Buckman and wife, Jennifer of Campbellsville, Matt Buckman and wife, Nichole of Franklin, Emilie Murrey of Campbellsville and Samantha Dunbar and husband, Dannie of Washington; seven great-grandchildren: Ayden Stagner, James Buckman, Rory Buckman, Lena Murrey, Jase Dunbar, Jameson Dunbar and Gavin Buckman and an expectant great-grandson, George Buckman; one brother and three sisters: Paul David Gabbert of Knifley, Jewell Watson and Dollie Cox of Campbellsville and Ethel Marie Rains of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Joseline Gabbert;several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
