Lena Campbell Harmon

Lena Campbell Harmon of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Campbell and Flossie Colvin Campbell, was born June 3, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:50 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and was a lifelong member of Palestine Baptist Church. Lena was a teller with Citizen’s Bank and also had worked as a switchboard operator, as well as a bookkeeper and secretary for her church. She had a great interest in genealogy and kept perfect photo albums. Lena also enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses and she had a special love for the children, as well as the senior adults she cared for over the years. She united in marriage to Randall Harmon September 6, 1958. Besides her husband, Randall Harmon of Campbellsville, she is also survived by two daughters: Shaune Harris and husband, Scott of Bowling Green and Randa Zopff and husband, Daniel of Peoria, Arizona; three grandchildren: Luke Zopff, Levi Zopff and Callie Harris; two sisters: Helen Burris and husband, Calvin of Campbellsville and Nora Susan Jarboe of Louisville; two sisters-in-law: Betty Campbell of Blackshear, Georgia and Jean Campbell of Buckeye, Arizona; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Lena was also preceded in death by two sisters: Carrie Mae Phillips and Louise Roberts and two brothers: C.W.
