LaQuita Hunt of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Walter Charles Burress and Lyda Lois Blankenship Burress, was born October 24, 1933 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 3:15 P.M., Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Lebanon. Age: 87 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church, where she was active with the Church nursery, WMU and Vacation Bible School. LaQuita was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She loved to cook and was best known for her turkey and dressing. All the family considered her to be a great mom who had a good Christian influence on everyone she met. She united in marriage to Carl Hunt June 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death November 29, 2002. LaQuita is survived by three sons and one daughter: Larry Hunt and wife, JoAnne, Gary Hunt and wife, Kathy, Greg Hunt and wife, Michelle and Judy Wilson and husband, Roger of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Dana Barrett and husband, Cary of Cave City, Trena Smith and husband, Jamie, Millie Ramsey and husband, Jay and Andy Hunt of Campbellsville, Misty Roller and husband, Kenny of Bardstown, Mandy Goff and husband, Russ of Greensburg, Alex Hunt and wife, Ashley of Lexington, and Emily Hunt-Panzera and husband, David of Box Elder, South Dakota; seventeen great-grandchildren: Kendall Roller, Brooklyn Roller, Kaden Roller, Ryan Barrett, Brylen Barrett, Owen Smith, Olivia Smith, Lily Kate Smith, Layla Smith, Lillian Claire Goff, Caroline Grace Goff, Evelyn Greer Goff, Eleanor Rose Hunt, Vivian Grace Hunt, Everly Ramsey, David Gregory Panzera and Daniel James Panzera; one brother and one sister: Darrel Burress of Shepherdsville and Nancy Hunt and husband, Darrell of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
