Johnnie Abell of Campbellsville, son of the late Eugene E. Abell and Lucia Ray Mann Abell, was born June 2, 1929 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 2:05 P.M., Monday, December 21, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 91 He was a retired foreman of Hoosier Concrete Company and a retired farmer. Johnnie professed faith in Christ and attended Elk Horn United Methodist Church. He brought joy and happiness to family, friends and community alike, being best known for his caring, loving and generous heart. Johnnie united in marriage to Onia Hoosier Goode April 3, 1964. Besides his wife, Onia Abell of Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and three daughters: Regena Russell and husband, Richard, and Brenda Callahan of Campbellsville, John Abell and wife Renee of Columbia, Cathy Kingdollar of Tennessee and Ernie Abell; one daughter-in-law, Lawanna Abell of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Lisa Pyles of Shelbyville, Benjamin Callahan, Amanda Kelley and husband, Josh and Willie Abell of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Ethan Kelley, Isaac Abell, Maley Abell and Lacee Pyles; one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law: Bradley Hoosier and Zelma Lotter of Campbellsville; several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
