Jessie Douglas Clark of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Hobert Clark and Mary Haggie Gribbins Clark, was born December 1, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:35 P.M., Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church, where he was a custodian for twenty-five years. He was known to be a hard worker, having been employed at Fruit of the Loom, Chappell’s Dairy, Walmart and Fleetwood. Doug was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He united in marriage to Diane Bright Clark February 26, 1959 and she preceded him in death July 15, 2015. He is survived by two sons and three daughters: Jeff Clark and wife, Sherry, Mark Clark and wife, Laura, Teresa Ralls and Karen Mardis and husband, Gary of Campbellsville and Kathy Clark of Bowling Green; eleven grandchildren: Jeremy Clark, Lydia Clark Corey and husband, Gill, Shayla Clark, Scott Seaborne and wife, Shaina, Casey Seaborne and wife, Allie, Jessica Seaborne, Rachel Reynolds and husband, Tyler, Chad Payton and wife, Nicole, Matt Payton and wife, Whitney, Mason Mardis and wife, Erica and Sasha Jones and husband, Justin; eighteen great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Buford Clark of Macon, Georgia and Laverne Sapp of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
