Jerry Wayne "Hardhead" Muncie

Jerry Wayne “Hardhead” Muncie of Campbellsville, son of the late Lanous Muncie and Imogene Walker Muncie was born November 21, 1940 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 11:45 P.M., Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Jerry was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, having also served as a prison guard at LaGrange for three years. He was a member of the Pitman Mason Lodge #124 F & AM. Jerry was an avid fisherman, but was best known as a great husband, father, and papaw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He united in marriage to Faye White August 11, 1979. Besides his wife, Faye White Muncie of Campbellsville, Jerry is survived by one son and one daughter: Jeff Muncie and wife, Lee Ann, and Cheryl Harmon of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Janis Megan Harmon and Jeffrey David Muncie and wife, Lindsey of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Tatum Hoskins, Ava Muncie and Cale Muncie; one sister, Carlotta Richardson and husband, Jim of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
