Jennie Barnett

Jennie Barnett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late William Earl Myers and Mary Melba Wilson Myers, was born November 6, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 7:30 P.M., Monday, January 9, 2023 in Greensburg. Age: 90 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday School for forty years. She was a homemaker and retired seamstress. Jennie enjoyed cooking and her family said she was a good cook. She united in marriage to Leonard Barnett April 25, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 19, 2017. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Randy Barnett and wife, Kelly of Elizabethtown and Linda Humphress and husband, Mike of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Levi Barnett and Chelsey Gorham and husband, Bobby of Louisville, Austin Seaborne and wife, Sarah and Ashley Silas of Elizabethtown; two great-grandchildren: Madison Silas and Loralai Gorham; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Jennie was also preceded in death by three brothers: Johnnie “Bill” Myers, Charles Myers and Leroy Myers. ______________ Services will be private.
