J. D. Rainwater

D. Rainwater of Campbellsville, son of the late Ras Rainwater and Lillian Ford Rainwater, was born February 14, 1928, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:29 A.M., Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Campbellsville.   Age: 90 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. D. was a retired employee of Bourbon Cooperage in Lebanon and was also a farmer and carpenter. He enjoyed gardening, tending to his cattle and spending time with his son, Joe’s, special dog, Katie. He is survived by two sons and two daughters: Johnnie Rainwater and wife, Sherri, Joe Rainwater and wife, Donna and Susan Rainwater of Campbellsville and Patty Mounce and husband, Ricky of Georgetown; ten grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Billy Rainwater and wife, Bernice, Lula Mae Bell, Helen Sharp and Barbara Skaggs and husband, Donald of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law: Agnes Rainwater and Sandy Rainwater of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
