Henry Milton Jones, Jr.

Henry Milton Jones, Jr. of Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Milton Jones, Sr. and India Maude McCubbin Jones, was born April 14, 1933, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 7:45 A.M., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 in Campbellsville. Age: 88 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon, church treasurer, worship leader and was a Sunday School teacher for over forty years. Milton was a life-long farmer and was a former member of the Taylor County ASF Office and Taylor County Farm Bureau. He also served on the Taylor County Democratic Executive Committee and the Taylor County School Board for sixteen years. He was also a Gideon for several years. He united in marriage to Geraldine Goff January 30, 1952. Besides his wife, Geraldine Jones of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Jason Jones and Sharon Harris and husband, Brian of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Carly Ann Davis of Nashville, Tennessee, Sara Harris and fiancé, Meong Kwak of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Ben Harris-Medina and wife, Ely of Lexington; adopted grandson, Neil Hooper of Campbellsville; two brothers: David Jones and wife, Johnette of Boston, Massachusetts and Donald Jones and wife, Betty of Killeen, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
