Harold Dalton Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox, was born August 28, 1938 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:22 P.M., Thursday, March 25, 2021 in Louisville. Age: 82 He professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church but was currently attending Campbellsville Separate Baptist Church. While attending Mannsville Separate Baptist Church, he was a Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Sunday School Superintendent. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Harold also retired from the Kentucky National Guard 623rd Battalion after twenty years of service. Harold was a retired employee of Parker-Kalon in Campbellsville. He was good husband and father and dearly loved his grandchildren. He united in marriage to Kathleen Woodrum August 22, 1964. Besides his wife, Kathleen Cox of Elk Horn, Harold is survived by one son, Damon A. Cox and wife, Destiny of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Aidan Cox, Ethan Cox, Keegan Cox, Avery Cox, Kira Cox and Kennedy Cox; one sister, Beverly Sue Cox of Campbellsville; two brothers-in-law: Bro. Robert Boston and Stevie Woodrum of Campbellsville; three sisters-in-law: Mary Nell Cox, Marcella Cox and Pauline Ford and husband, Gary of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law, Mary Nell Cox and Marcella Cox of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
