Ham Johnson of Campbellsville, son of the late William Roscoe Johnson and Sudie Collins Johnson, was born October 25, 1935, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 9:12 A.M., Monday, March 26, 2018 in Lexington. Age: 82 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Ham was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. Some of his hobbies were fishing, coaching softball and horseback riding. He united in marriage to Charlene Hodges December 24, 1957. Besides his wife, Charlene Johnson of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters: Penny Thompson and husband, Dean of Campbellsville and Lisa Cox and husband, Doug of Mannsville; four grandchildren: Brandon Rucker and wife, Bridgette of Campbellsville, Tiffany Cox and fiance’ Jason Malone and Josh Cox and wife, Jennifer of Mannsville and Matt Thompson and wife, Stephanie of Campbellsville; three great-granddaughters: Piper Rucker, Matilyn Thompson and Maci Thompson; two sisters: Marie Edwards and husband, Owen of London and June Morgan of Jacksonville, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
