Gerald Davis

Gerald Davis, son of the late Arvil Davis and Marguerite Allen Davis, was born August 27, 1943 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 5:09 A.M., Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Lexington. Age: 81

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Gerald was a retired tool and die maker and a farmer.

He was an excellent gardener, but most importantly was a good husband, father and grandfather.

He united in marriage to Judy Yaden December 23, 1961.

Besides his wife, Judy Davis of Campbellsville, Gerald is survived by two daughters and four sons: Jennifer Schuhmann and husband, Jeffrey, Rob Davis and wife, Angela, Jim Davis, and Lewis Davis of Campbellsville, Matt Davis and wife, Missy of Atlanta, and Crystal Tate and husband, Travis of Alabama; five grandchildren: Bryan Davis, Davis Schuhmann, Jillian Schuhmann, R.C. Tate and Sagan Davis; three sisters and three brothers: Nellie Blevins and husband, Randy of Casey County, Linda Davis of Louisville, Lisa Milburn and husband, Robbie of Danville, Steve Davis and wife, Betty of Bowling Green, and Paul Glen Davis and wife, Carrie, and Jeff Davis of Florida; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Elizabeth in infancy, and a sister, Karen Blevins.
