Geneva Sullivan Collins

Geneva Sullivan Collins of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Almon Sullivan and Pauline Campbell Sullivan, was born April 5, 1942 in Russell County, Kentucky. She died at 12:01 A.M., Monday, February 7, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 79 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Woodlawn Christian Church, where she was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Geneva was a homemaker and bookkeeper and manager of Dynamic Athletic Center she and her husband owned. She had an ear for music and began playing by ear at age four and never learned to read music but could play anything she heard. She loved decorating especially at Christmas and enjoyed watching her grandsons play ball. She united in marriage to Charlie Collins July 10, 1959 and he preceded her in death June 5, 2020. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Mark Collins and wife, Teresa of Seymour, Tennessee and Jennifer Chewning and husband, David of Campbellsville; two grandsons: Matthew A. Chewning of Nicholasville and John P. Chewning and wife, RaeAnn of Campbellsville; one sister, Betty Wheat; her granddog, Lilly Fiona; nieces and nephews: Sandy Bell of Louisville, Gene Smith of Columbia, Mike Akers of Lexington, Lana Maupin of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Patrick Sullivan of Nicholasville and Ann Hatcher of Jamestown and many other relatives and friends.
