Garry Blakeman of Campbellsville, son of the late Melvin Blakeman and Mary Frances Durham Blakeman, was born August 10, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 7:44 A.M., Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 73 He was a retired school bus driver for the Taylor County School System after twenty-four years of service. He professed faith in Christ and was a member and a deacon of Good Hope Baptist Church. Garry united in marriage to Patricia Morris September 27, 1969. He was an amazing bus driver and everyone requested him to be the driver for any band or extracurricular activities. He also enjoyed deer hunting. Besides his wife, Patricia Blakeman of Campbellsville, he is survived by two brothers and two sisters: Larry Blakeman and wife, Paula, Linda Edrington and Carole Blakeman of Campbellsville and Charles Blakeman and wife, Linda of Shepherdsville; sisters-in-law: Judy Blakeman of Elk Horn, Kathy Lawson and husband, Terry of Campbellsville and Velda Beams and husband, Charles of Hendersonville, Tennessee; nieces and nephews: Carla Taylor, Debbie Irvin, Charles Ray Blakeman, Mike Blakeman, Tracie Mings, Jason Blakeman, Mary Beth Jackson, Melissa Webb and Bryan Edrington and many other relatives and friends.
