Evelyn Pike

Evelyn Pike of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Russell Williams and Nancy Hoskins Williams, was born October 3, 1922, in Harlan County, Kentucky. She died at 11:43 P.M., Sunday, January 21, 2018 in Louisville.    Age: 95 Evelyn professed faith in Christ and was a dedicated member of Green River Memorial Baptist Church where she spent years as the pianist. During her time teaching Sunday School there, she led many children to the Lord.She was a much admired secretary at Campbellsville Industries for many years. She united in marriage to Coy Pike August 23, 1941 and he preceded her in death May 4, 1994. She is survived by two granddaughters: Sherry Willis and husband, Scott of Aberdeen, North Carolina and Lisa Cox of Louisville; two great-grandsons: Josh Rose and wife, Lauren of Versailles and Brandon Read of Bowling Green; two brothers:  Paul Williams and wife, Pat and Barry Williams and wife Carolyn; her adopted family:  Jan Hayes, Joyce Wilson and Dean and Juanita Antle and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Roberts October 23, 2012 and one brother and one sister: Edward Williams and Jeanette Walker.
