Elaine Chelf

Elaine Chelf of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Kessel and Blanch Workins Kessel, was born May 6, 1921 in Bureau County, Illinois. She died at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, October 25, 2020 in Greensburg. Age: 99 Elaine was a retired employee of Walmart in Campbellsville at the age of eight-seven. She was also a former employee of CTS Knights in Illinois. She united in marriage to Woodrow Chelf June 30, 1958 and he preceded her in death June 3, 2006. Elaine enjoyed crafts and working. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Doug Chelf and wife, Missy of Campbellsville and Marjorie Hubbard of Sandwich, Illinois; ten grandchildren: Austin Chelf, Jeff Shafer, Tonja Miller, Jan Cleary, Kim Young, Kris Holliday, Becky Gibson, Sherry Linton, Tasha Norris and Donnie Beck; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Donnie Kessel of Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
