Delano Shipp of Campbellsville, son of the late Emmitt Shipp and Teresa Viola Caulk Shipp was born October 19, 1941 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 11:11 P.M., Sunday, April 12, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church. He retired after approximately thirty-nine years of service from the knitting room of Fruit of the Loom in both Campbellsville and Jamestown. Delano loved farming and talking to people; he never met a stranger. He united in marriage to Betty Sue Hash August 3, 1968. Besides his wife, Betty Sue Shipp of Campbellsville, he is survived by three sisters: Kathleen Perkins of Campbellsville, Judy Harvey and husband, Carey of Glasgow and Barbara Hunt of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; special friend, Jimmy Skaggs of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
