Charlie Robinson of Campbellsville, son of the late James William “Will” Robinson and Pauline Bottoms Robinson, was born August 24, 1945 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 4:00 A.M., Saturday, October 8, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 77 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Lighthouse Tabernacle in Knifley. Charlie was a devout Christian and read his Bible nearly every night. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired knitting room employee at Fruit of the Loom in Jamestown. Charlie united in marriage to Pauline Kelsay November 13, 1967. He loved digging in the woods and reading. Besides his wife, Pauline Robinson of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Alisa and Kevin Shirrell of Campbellsville; one son-in-law, Harlan Jessie of Greensburg; two grandchildren: Kristin Smith and husband, Brandon and Blake Shirrell of Campbellsville; one expected great-grandchild; one sister, Norma Robinson of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Charlie was also preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Nichelle Jessie and a brother, Edward Robinson.
