Carolyn Spurling

Carolyn Spurling of Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Richard Thompson and Lola Kidd Thompson, was born April 19, 1928 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 10:22 P.M., Sunday, December 18, 2022 in Louisville. Age: 94 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Spurlington United Methodist Church. Carolyn loved fishing and her time spent in Florida. She united in marriage to Charles Spurling December 20, 2002 and he preceded her in death March 17, 2018. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Donald Clark and wife, Paula, Dale Clark, and Jan Wilcoxson and husband, Tommy of Louisville; eight grandchildren; two brothers and one sister: Leo W. Thompson, Richard Thompson of Glasgow and Jeania Miller and husband, Mel Rash of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
