Carlton Davis of Campbellsville, son of the late W.F. Davis and Mamie Paxton Davis, was born September 20, 1937in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 8:54 P.M., Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Campbellsville. Age: 87

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom for forty-two years, having also worked at Cox Interior for twelve years, and also served as a volunteer fire fighter. 

Carlton was a dedicated Christian and took pride in his church during his life, taking on many roles in his earlier years. He also loved to hunt and fish but most importantly, loved his family dearly. 

He united in marriage to Dellean Hunt December 14, 1956.

Besides his wife, Dellean Davis of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Robby Davis and wife, Ellyn of Campbellsville, and Pam Parrottt and husband, Barry of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Adrienne Hash and husband, Griffin, Scott Davis, Deanna Merrill and husband, John, Jessica Williams and husband, Nathan, and Robin LeCureux and husband, Jeremy; seven great-grandchildren: Gracyne Webb and husband, Dustin, Seth Hash and wife, Chloe, Jayden Merrill, Jackson Williams, Annabelle Williams, Aaron Blakenship, and Anna Blakenship; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Dale Davis and Yvonne Copley.
