Beechel Clark of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Sylvester Sluder and Lettie Mae Cox Sluder, was born January 26, 1939 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:15 A.M., Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Campbellsville. Age: 83 Beechel professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and had babysat for numerous children, most of whom still called her “Mammy.” Beechel loved gospel and country music and visiting family, especially her grandbabies. She always had a smile for you and was best known for her punchbowl cake. She united in marriage to Leslie Clark February 7, 1959 and he preceded her in death August 11, 2015. She is survived by one son and one daughter: Ronald Clark and wife, Rose Ann and Sharon Read and husband, John of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Jessica Clark, Leslie Ann Clark, Jamie Tuliano, Timmy Nelson, Rebecca Nelson and Sarah Hedgespeth; three great-grandchildren: Jaxon Clark, Jaz Bright and Jagger Bright; eight step-great-grandchildren; four sisters: Lillie Shirrell, Linda Newton and husband, Michael, Helen Claywell and husband, Gary and Jane Dudgeon of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christie Mae Clark and three brothers and two sisters: James “Jimmy” Sluder, Harold Sluder, Charles Sluder, Shirley Graybeal and Aline Vannice. ________________ VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M..
