Bea Samuel Montgomery of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Paul Cobb and Cora Coleman Cobb, was born November 27, 1923 in Owen County, Kentucky. She died at 10:15 P.M., Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Campbellsville. Age: 94 Bea was an amazing woman. She was not only a homemaker, she was a surgical technician and she co-owned with her husband Ollie, Montgomery Shoe Store and the Cozy Theatre. She was a former president of the Democratic Women’s Club, a member of the Campbellsville Women’s Club and a former chairperson for the Cancer Crusade. She was a long-time member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Ollie Montgomery on November 8, 1947 and he preceded her in death March 25, 1994. She is survived by one granddaughter: Samantha Montgomery of Lexington; a daughter-in-law, Dee Montgomery of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; two step-grandchildren: Joe Brogan and wife, Jordan and Lisa Schafer and husband, Steve; four step-great-grandchildren: Sydney Lynn Schafer, Tyler Schafer, Joey Brogan and Jackson Brogan all of Philadelphia; ten nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends including the especially cherished Johnson Family. She was preceded in death by a son, Dr. Lynn C. Montgomery and two brothers and two sisters: Tye Cobb, Sarah Frances Florian, R.C.
