Eural G. "Jeff" Jeffries

Eural G. “Jeff” Jeffries of Campbellsville, son of the late Roy Hobert Jeffries and Flora Mae Davis Jeffries was born October 14, 1927 in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 4:30 P.M., Friday, September 8, 2017 in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Age: 89 He professed faith in Christ and attended Lowell Avenue Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII having served his country honorably in the United States Army during the occupation of Japan. Before his retirement he was a truck driver and mechanic. Jeff could fix anything and got great pleasure from helping family and friends with repairs. His greatest desire was to see all of his family profess faith in Christ so they could have a big reunion in heaven. He united in marriage to Norma Jean Gabehart March 7, 1970. Besides his wife, Norma Jean Jeffries of Campbellsville, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Michelle Jeffries of Campbellsville, Karen Vincent of Louisville and Tommy Jeffries of Plano, Texas; two step-children, Karen Mackin and husband Danny and David Scheler of Louisville; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother: Mary “Matt” Bishop, Vera Opal Davenport and James L.
