Margarita Wheeler Thomas

Margarita Wheeler Thomas, daughter of the late Charles Roscoe Wheeler and Nancy Boyd Lunsford Wheeler, was born May 24, 1941 in Estill County, Kentucky. She died at her home in Lexington on August 6, 2017. Age: 76 She was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Northview Baptist Church in Lexington. She united in marriage to Clyde Thomas who preceded her in death. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Billy Dabney of Mannsville; three nieces and two nephews: Ann Dabney, Neil Dabney and wife, Jaclyn, Melinda Howard and husband, Coy, Mary Wheeler and Clay Wheeler and wife, Heather; six great-nephews: Hayden, Noah and Reid Dabney, Jacob and Derek Howard, and Elias Wheeler and one great-niece, Matilyn Wheeler and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Wheeler. Her ashes will be interred in the Lunsford Family Cemetery in Estill County at a later date.
