Mary VanCleave of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Edward Martin and Edna Mae Perkins Martin, was born November 14, 1939 in Nelson County, Kentucky. She died at 2:12 P.M., Monday, July 24, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Mary was a former hairdresser having owned and operated Mary’s Beauty Salon. She loved working in her flower beds, was an avid reader and enjoyed baking for her friends and family. She united in marriage to Randall VanCleave July 3, 1958 and he preceded her in death May 31, 2014. She is survived by two daughters: Gail Cochran and Sherry Matthews and husband, Tony of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Cory Harrison of Campbellsville, Chris Harrison and wife, Megan of Columbia, Josh Cochran and fiancee, Tatem Smith of Campbellsville and Katlin Cochran of Clinton, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren: Gavin Harrison, Ava Harrison, Levi Harrison and Rhylen Smith; two brothers: Russell Martin of Campbellsville and James Martin of Hodgenville; several cousins and nieces and many other relatives and friends.
