Jimmy "Beaver" Burress

Jimmy “Beaver” Burress of Campbellsville, son of the late Leroy Burress and Archie Witham Burress, was born May 10, 1953, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:45 P.M., Wednesday, July 19, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 64 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Owenton, Kentucky. Jimmy was a welder at Campbellsville Industries and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He united in marriage to Susan Smith May 29, 2005. Besides his wife, Susan Burress of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son, Scott Burress of Louisville; three step-daughters: Shara Whitley of Campbellsville, Rebecca Lockhart and husband, Dana of Versailles and Melissa Hunter and husband, Jesse of Taylorsville; four grandchildren: Beatrice Lockhart of Versailles, Micah Hunter, Asher Hunter and Nate Hunter of Taylorsville; one brother, Don Witham and wife, Betty Joyce of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. ____________ VISITATION: 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Monday, July 24, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home by Bro.
