Shirley Bolt Garrett

Shirley Bolt Garrett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Ellis Bolt and Eva West Bolt, was born October 14, 1932, in Casey County, Kentucky. She died at 9:31 A.M., Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Lexington. Age: 84 Shirley professed her faith in the Lord Jesus at an early age and was a faithful member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church for fifty-three years. She had been a Sunday School teacher, a GA leader and a member of the Women’s Group and Kitchen Committee. She loved spending time with her family and friends, reading, quilting and working in her flower garden. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She is survived by three sons and two daughters: Randy Garrett of Campbellsville, Brent Garrett and wife, Brigitte and Lisa Nelson and husband, Greg of Lexington, Sharon Fowler and husband, Jerry of Lebanon and Kerry Cundiff and wife, Connie of Liberty; one daughter-in-law, Diane Smith and husband, Troy of Campbellsville; fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; three brothers and one sister: Howard Bolt of Liberty, Chester Bolt of Indianapolis Indiana, Roger Bolt of San Antonio, Texas and Marjorie Linkenhoker of Franklin, Indiana; and many other relatives and friends.
