Ophelia Hunt

Ophelia Hunt of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Will Spurling and Rhoda Wade Spurling, was born April 10, 1923 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:54 A.M., Monday, April 24, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 94 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Willie Welborn Hunt who preceded her in death November 12, 2000. She is survived by five sons and four daughters: Pauline Cash, Willie Melvin Hunt, Donald Hunt and wife, Sue, Sondra Gilbert and husband, Danny, Roscoe Hunt and wife, Jeanette, Sharon Wethington, Teddy Hunt, Colane Hunt and wife, Teresa and Denise Wooley and husband, Bud; twenty-five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin Wade and a brother in childhood.
