Joe Marcum

Joe Marcum of Campbellsville, son of the late Joseph “Bennie” Marcum and Mary Shively Marcum was born October 14, 1947, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 1:34 P.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 69 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church. Joe served his country honorably in the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam conflict. He was an employee of Fruit of the Loom for 30 years and had also worked at Cox Interior. Joe united in marriage to Brenda Price on June 12, 1981. Besides his wife, Brenda Marcum of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son, J.J. Marcum and wife, Jackie of Campbellsville; one step-son, Timmy Willis and wife, Deana of Campbellsville; one grandchild, Lexi Marcum of Campbellsville; two step-grandchildren: Shawn Larger and Darrin Larger of Campbellsville; one brother and one sister: Donnie Marcum and wife, Pat and Joyce Abell and husband, Sam of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
