Ivan "Bootie" Bault

February 14, 1939 — March 27, 2017

Ivan “Bootie” Bault of Campbellsville, son of the late Wilbur Bault and Ivern Williams Bault, was born on February 14, 1939, in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 1:04 P.M., Monday, March 27, 2017 in Louisville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a very active member of Robinson Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired knitting room employee at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Ivan loved pitching horseshoes and helped develop the horseshoe pits at Miller Park so that tournaments could be held there. He was also a member of the Kentucky Horseshoe Pitchers Association for many years. Another past time he enjoyed was watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren play sports at the local parks. Ivan is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Terry Roberts of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Holly Dudgeon and husband, Ryan, Patrick Greer and companion, Destiny Cox and Megan Roberts of Campbellsville; three great-grandchildren: Lily Dudgeon, Creed Dudgeon and Eden Dudgeon; one brother and two sisters: Wayne Bault and wife, Brenda, Sharon Ford and husband, Raymond and Mildred Gray of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
