Gerald Stanley Skagss

Gerald Stanley Skaggs of Campbellsville, son of the late Stanley Skaggs and Elizabeth Hunt Skaggs, was born January 23, 1945 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00A.M., Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 71 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He farmer and former employee of Fruit of the Loom and Parker Kalon. He united in marriage to Birdie L. Gaddie February 1, 1964. Besides his wife, Birdie L. Skaggs of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and two daughters: Teresa Handy and husband, Brian, Jerry Skaggs and wife, Gayle, and Mary Gabehart and husband, C.J., of Campbellsville; five grandchildren: Brandee Flick and husband, Alex of Clarksville, Indiana, Brianna Handy, Madison Handy, Emilee Gabehart and Justin Gabehart of Campbellsville; two step-grandchildren, Adrienne Hash and husband, Griffin and Scott Davis of Campbellsville, two step-great-grandchildren: Gracyne Hash and Seth Hash; one niece and one nephew, Debbie Evans and Philip Hanley and many other relatives and friends. Gerald was also preceded in death by one sister, Mildred Hanley. VISITATION: 5:00-8:00 P.M.
