Roger "Doc" York

Roger “Doc” York of Campbellsville, son of the late Preston York and Madeline Grider York, was born May 4, 1961, in Cumberland County, Kentucky. He died at 7:41 P.M., Friday, September 30, 2016 in Corbin. Age: 55 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. Roger was a proud member of the National Guard. He was known as a handyman and could do numerous things. He worked in landscaping, mowing yards, delivering furniture and whatever needed to be done. He united in marriage to Tammy Harris December 27, 1986. Besides his wife, Tammy York of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Andy York and wife, Elizabeth and Kim York; five grandchildren: Madison York, Alexis Mings, Morgan York, Sean Mings and Mason York all of Campbellsville; three sisters and three brothers: Ruby Burton and husband, Albert, Carol Brown, Bernice York, Richard York and wife, Shirley of Columbia, Randall York of Cumberland County and Marvin York and wife, Kathy of Campbellsville: father-in-law, Siebert Harris of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
