Vernith Parrish

Vernith Parrish of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Ray Cox and Nora Mae Hughes Cox, was born March 27, 1930, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:13 A.M., Friday, July 22, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 She professed faith in Christ and attended Campbellsville Baptist Temple. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after forty-four years of service. She united in marriage to Hiestand Parrish January 11, 1986. Besides her husband, Hiestand Parrish, she is survived by two step-daughters, Tammy Porter and husband, Gary of Campbellsville and Melissa Benfield and husband, Don of Hickory, North Carolina; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Gusta Garrett of Campbellsville; two special nieces: Donna Lile and husband, Ricky of Campbellsville and Kathy Wiser and husband, Ray of Bradfordsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
