Rodney Franklin Cox

Rodney Franklin Cox of Campbellsville, son of the late Edgar Cox and Nellie Mae Watson Cox, was born March 24, 1935, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:02 A.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 81 He professed faith in Christ and attended Elk Horn Tabernacle. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and was later known as the neighborhood handyman. He united in marriage to Margrie Thompson October 22, 1955. She preceded him in death October 19, 2009. He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Kennie Cox and Paul Cox and fiancée, Deborah Sullivan of Campbellsville and Rhonda Gail Greene and husband, Reggie of Tucson, Arizona; eight grandchildren: Trenton Cox, Victoria Cox, Tanner Cox, Kevin Parker, Shannon Augusta, Tony Parker, Jason McQuarie and Madisen Sullivan; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Russell Cox and wife, Nellie Mae of Elk Horn; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
