Leoma S. White of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Otha Shive and Era Turner Shive, was born March 27, 1940, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She died at 5:35 A.M., Saturday, May 28, 2016 in Greensburg. Age 76 Leoma retired from Campbellsville Independent School System as a third grade teacher in 1986. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Harlie White May 24, 1958 Besides her husband, Harlie White of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons: Jeff White and wife, Sharon of Louisville and Greg White and wife, Trish of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren: Abbie White, Leigh White, Dylan White, of Louisville, Phillip White and Stuart White of Nashville, Tennessee; one great granddaughter: Harley Meadows of Louisville; one brother and one sister: Welbie Shive and wife, Janice of Indianapolis, Indiana and Connie Smith of Hermitage, Tennessee: one sister-in-law: Evadine Abney of Tompkinsville: sixteen nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law: Keith and Linda Shive.
