Danny Ray Newton of Campbellsville, son of the late Dorris Ray Newton and Ruth Adams Newton was born September 7, 1958 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 24, 2016 in Campbellsville.
Age: 57
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith, having been baptized in 1983 at age 25.
He was former owner of Lee’s Famous Recipe in Greensburg.
He is survived by one son, Devin Ray Newton of Louisville; two sisters: Linda Maupin and husband, David of Danville, and Michelle Yates and husband, Ronnie of Campbellsville; one half-sister, Misty Chappel Heifner and husband, Warren of Canon City, Colorado; three nieces and two nephews: Casey Maupin, Chanci Yates, Hunter Yates, Brianna Heifner and Garrett Heifner; two great-nieces and two great nephews: Remi Jo Yates, Chanleigh Yates, Bentley Yates and Emmett Jaxon Clouse Maupin; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Allen Newton, May 29 , 1983.
