John "J. C." Shofner

John (J.C.) Shofner of Campbellsville, son of the late John B. Shofner and Velma Underwood Shofner was born June 19, 1947 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 3:31 P.M., Saturday, November 21, 2015 in Louisville. Age: 68 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Zion Separate Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Crucible Steel in Elizabethtown. He united in marriage to Juanita Perkins December 18, 1965. Besides his wife, Juanita Shofner of Campbellsville he is survived by two daughters: Tracy Shofner and significant other, Steve Handy of Campbellsville and Robin Brussell and husband, Dale of Elizabethtown; one granddaughter, Peyton Cambron of Campbellsville; one sister, Helen Sprowles and husband, Larry of Campbellsville; four honorary grandchildren: Jeremy Sprowles, Brylee Sprowles, Allie Hash Seaborne, and Megan Hash Gaines; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
